How To:
Lite a Pilot
natural gas or LPG heater, usually there is a button that you have to push in to light the pilot. Turn the gascock ON; turn the temperature control/thermostat down to low; turn the control knob to PILOT; push and hold the button in; light the pilot; continue to hold the button in for at least one minute; release the button and the pilot should stay lit; turn the control knob to ON; finally, turn the temperature control/thermostat to the desired water temperature. If the pilot goes out when you turn the control knob to ON, wait five minutes and try again.
Change a Filter
At the bottem right hand side facing the furnace you will find a filter. This is one of the commen filters you can buy at Walmarts. The filter is a cardbord sheet with a filter on it. Pull out said filter look at the size printed on it.Go to Walmart and buy another. When you push in said filter be sure the air flow arrow on top edge is pointing toward the furnace.
